Meet Ms. Wells...

Hello and welcome to first grade! My name is Ms. Stacy Wells and I am absolutely delighted to be your child’s teacher this school year! I look forward to working with you to make first grade a year to remember. When parents, students, and teachers work together, wonderful things can happen!

I believe that every child is entitled to a well-rounded education in a positive and caring environment. Thus, it is my personal goal as an educator to provide such an environment that engages students’ minds and creates a desire for learning. I will watchfully challenge and assist your student to reach their maximum potential and level of success with relation to his or her learning, both academically and socially.

I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Eastern Michigan University in 2001 and in December 2005, I celebrated the completion of my master’s program at Marygrove College. This school year will mark my seventh as a first grade teacher with Saline Area Schools. I spent the first four years of my career teaching first grade at Houghton before moving here to Harvest. I am very familiar with the Saline area and the commitment to education that is strived for throughout this wonderful school district. Saline is truly a great place to teach, learn, and be!

I am looking forward to a successful year here at Harvest! We will learn a lot and have a great deal of fun in the process. Please feel free to contact me by phone: 734-429-8000, ext. 5558 or e-mail: wellss@saline.k12.mi.us should you have any questions or concerns.
