TEAM SUPPLY LIST


Every occupation requires certain tools. Students also need specific tools to perform well in their current job ----- school. As a member of the Explorer team, you are expected to come to class prepared with the essential materials. The following supplies are suggested to help you be a successful member of our team.

One large binder OR Four (1-2 inch) 3 Ring Binders - We recognize that different organizational methods work for different students. Binders are essential items to keep papers organized for each class. You will either need four binders – one for each team class, or one large binder with sections for each team class. Parents should work with students to find which organization method works best.

1/2 Inch Binder specifically for Social Studies - This binder needs to have a clear insert on the front and the back, and should contain 50 sheets of college-ruled notebook paper.

1/2 Inch Binder specifically for Language Arts - This binder needs to be white with a clear insert on the front and on the side.

Dividers for binder or binders - Dividers will help organize papers for each class.

One (1-subject) spiral notebooks - Please be sure you have two separate spiral notebooks as they will be collected in different classes at various times in the year. These both need to be college rule and a minimum of 100 pages.


Writer's Notebook - Black and White composition book


Basic supplies - Students should bring the following supplies to each class:

Pens with blue or black ink
Pencils with erasers
 Notebook paper
 Yellow highlighter
 Colored pencils
 Zipper pouch to carry pens, pencils, erasers, etc.

Other helpful items to consider:

Small pair of scissors
 Binder size three hole punch
 Ruler
 Glue stick


Last, but not least, PLEASE bring a donation of one box of tissue to your Section One team class during the first week of school. All of our noses will thank you!
