2. Write the name of your place on your worksheet.
3. What is the absolute location of your place? (Hint: It's street address)
4. What is the relative location of your place? (Hint: What other place is it near- what direction is it from another place?)
5. What is your place like? What kind of building is it? (What is it made of? How tall is it? What kinds of things are near your place- roads, parking lots, trees, houses, other businesses?)6. Does your place produce a good or product? (Something you can buy like ice cream, a hamburger, oranges, dog food, a pizza?) Does your place produce a service? (Something they do for you, such as give haircuts, change your tires, deposit your money?)
7. How do goods or supplies got to/from your place? (movement) List all the ways you can think of. What kinds of supplies does your place need in order to work? (Pizza needs flour, tomato sauce, cheese, meat, vegetables, pans, an oven, boxes, napkins, etc.)
8. Are there other places like yours in Saline that give the same type of product or service? What are they?9. What kind of region is your place in? In other words, is your place in a region of other businesses or does it stand by itself among houses? Type your address in Google Earth to see what your place looks like from the air.
10. Draw a detailed sketch of your place, to use for your postcard.
